As promised, here they are in all their perky glory.
You'll notice some have "nipples" and others do not. The "nipple" ones are the future faces of pigs, and the one without is a future "butt".
The stitch pattern for the blanket is very nice; it makes a thick and soft yet still drapey fabric, and the lines going up are actually crocheted cables.

wow! Call me a dumdum, but i never realized that people knit other pieces into blankets to only cut them off later to make magic creatures. WOW!
