My friend Jennie was born with cystic fibrosis and she is currently on a waiting list for a double lung transplant. Over the course of her life she will incur a large number of expenses for the surgery itself, special medications, and special treatment she must receive to make sure that the lung transplant is not rejected. Her family has set up this fund through COTA, the Children's Organ Transplant Association, to raise money to help offset these costs.
Donating is safe and simple. The site is secure and all donations are tax deductible. You can donate online with just a few clicks. COTA keeps none of your donation for their administrative costs--ALL funds donated go to Jennie's care.
